Krystal Carey Chandler

Krystal Carey Chandler is a fictional character from an ABC soap opera All My Children, as portrayed by Bobbie Eakes since December 12, 2003.
Krystal first made her AMC debut in late 2003 when Tad Martin went to California to find Krystal, the mother of Babe Chandler, his stepson J.R.'s new wife. Tad convinced Krystal to come to Pine Valley to live with Babe, and quickly caused a stir with her fun and crazy attitude.
In the early spring of 2004, Babe and Bianca Montgomery, who were both pregnant, went riding in the middle of a storm and ended up getting trapped in the middle of the woods. As the people of Pine Valley looked for them, both women gave birth (Babe to Little Adam; Bianca to Miranda). But thanks to Babe's sinister ex-husband, Paul Cramer, there was a switch: Paul made everyone believed that Miranda was the baby Babe gave birth to and that Bianca's child was dead. And Krystal was the first to realize that Babe's "daughter", Bess, was really Miranda a few weeks later. During this trying time, J.R. & Babe decided to have an official wedding ceremony because their first marriage was invalid. The night before that wedding, Babe put the pieces together and realized that Bess was Miranda. After Krystal confirmed this to Babe, she convinced Babe not to tell J.R., for it would break his heart.
Following J.R. & Babe's legal ceremony, Krystal received another shock when she learned that sleazy town doctor, David Hayward, was Babe's biological father. This came out just as David found out that Bess was really Miranda. And while all of this went down, Krystal started to fall for Tad, who had his hands full with Liza Colby and Simone Torres also admitting their feelings for him.
