Kryon is the source to which Lee Carroll and the Kryon Group attribute the material that they regularly publish online and in books, and which they claim is channelled. They describe Kryon as a disembodied entity of a different order than human, who has "been with the Earth since the beginning". The information published under the name, they claim, is meant to help humans "ascend to a higher vibrational level".

The Universe has considerably more dimensions than four; the keys to accessing those lie in an expanded understanding of the number "0" and base-12 mathematics.
Time is a secondary phenomenon that appears real to humans by design.
The Universe is teeming with life, although Earth and humans have a special purpose.
The four-dimensional world we appear to ourselves to inhabit is a purposely designed test. We do not get to see the full scope of the Universe while incarnated on Earth.
Humans are essentially eternal beings which take incarnations on Earth to take part in an important experiment in effects of free will.
Human bodies were altered around 100,000 years ago with the assistance of an advanced race from the Pleiades This explains why there is only one kind of Human Being, an evolutionary trait that not echoed in any other form of life which has massive variety. Scientific American commented that about 100,000 years ago there were at least 17 kinds of Humans in development, but only one emerged.
The Armageddon prophesied for the end of the last millennium could indeed have happened, but humanity has collectively chosen not to self-destruct, and is now entering the next phase of physical and spiritual evolution, for which any prophecy and prediction becomes nearly impossible.

Lee’s role is channelling Kryon and spreading his message to the world. Kryon’s goal appears to be to help humanity into a bright and glorious future. The debriefing sessions, which are published in books and on the internet, are described by Kryon as scientific, factual and verifiable. A typical Kryon speech will have him:

Introduce himself as "GREETINGS DEAR ONES, I am Kryon of magnetic service".
Chuckling at our foibles.
Grandstanding his soon-to-come predictions.

"Information will be given here that will be transcribed and I guarantee it will make it into a place that wil be validated with[sic] the next three years within your science"
Hinting at grand events and universal concepts.
Dumbing down stuff that we wouldn't be able to understand.
Quoting people in the scientific community.
Posing hypothetical/rhetorical questions.

"Now I ask you, if you wished to really study DNA, would you want to know about the bricks, or would you like to talk to the mason who is laying them?"
Encouraging and congratulating people’s attitude.
Building Esteem
Pointing out how certain concepts simply cannot be explained to us at this time.
Explaining how he understands how difficult it is to understand him.

"It's impossible to describe color to those who have never seen it."
Asking the reader/listener to simply have faith that something is true and that it will be proved true eventually.

"Like the others, it's an interdimensional layer, and this is esoteric information that can never be proven in your lifetime. But some of you will know this since it rings with truth."
Shifting, quickly and often, the subject of discussion.
Utilising an enormous number of similies to describe complex biological/chemical systems. (DNA is like a grand piano, DNA is like a bowl of soup, life is like a baseball game, etc)
Utilising terms and words that are difficult to understand unless you are into numerology.

"A ten is reduced to a one and one energetically represents new beginnings. When you start taking the numerology of DNA and putting it together, you get even greater meanings - information about what one layer does when combined with the other layers. Even applying basic numerology to what we have given you, the layers four and five must always work together because they are a nine. And that nine works with the nine I just gave you, which works with a one that I just told you about."
And recapping/reminding of material already presented.

Many of the Kryon claims and discussions are now in our present science. In 1989 he told us specifically about the fact that magnetic variations would speed up, and that the magnetic grid of the planet would move greatly over the next decade. According to a recent report on CNN, it has, and has followed the predictions accurately.^{[citation needed]} Esther Hicks In Kryon book one (1993) he spoke of great weather changes to come, and most can see them taking place right now. In the field of hard science, his concepts have been validated by physicists and researchers, especially in the field of biology (DNA research). Sometimes his larger meetings feature speakers who are MDs and Ph.D.s. on stage with him.

Kryon addresses his audience as lightworkers, and refers to unspecified people/forces outside (often “them” or “they”) as fear mongers and spreaders of confusion. Kryon refers to himself as ‘we.’ Kryon acknowledges and encourages the presence of other channellers, who are also spreading "sacred, anointed information," while acknowledging that some who claim to be channellers are fakers. He claims that people can tell the difference by "feeling" the truth of the teachings[1] and also recommends the following guidelines:

There will always be useful information for everyone.
The message should be uplifting.
Spirit (God) will never, ever channel a message that asks you to give up your free will. Never!
Spirit will never give you a message - ever - that asks you to violate the integrity of what you believe.
Spirit will never represent a channeller as being the only source.
Watch for the fact that the information is normally new information.
Watch for the fact that channelled information should have spiritual solutions presented.

Channellers like JZ Knight who channels Ramtha and Jach Pursel who channels Lazaris both do not fulfill these criteria - both claiming to be the only ones capable of chanelling their particular entity.

Lee Carroll is the author of 13 books in 24 languages. He has been channelling for 18 years (as of 2007), and has presented six times at the United Nations by invitation, at the "Society of Englightnement and Transformation" in New York City at the UN building^{[citation needed]}. He regularly speaks to thousands at a time in Europe and South America, and is well respected in the New Age community.

Lee Carroll has sold over 250,000 books related to Kryon[2] and co-wrote the very popular "Indigo Children" book, introducing the earth to this very well known term. - Indigo referrs to the color seen by a woman with a brain disorder (Synesthesia), not an auric field. These new children represent a new consciousness on the planet who need to be taught and parented differently. Kryon and Indigo books are easily available through Amazon.

Large wealth generation through channeling entities is not unusual, with many people making similar claims to Lee Carroll, of being the receiver of higher order information - information that they make available through the purchasing of books, DVDs, podcasts, attending seminars, workshops and one on one sessions. JZ Knight claims to channel Ramtha a spiritually enlightened Lemurian warrior who died 35,000 years ago - and over a hundred books have been generated from Ramtha's teachings by the Ramtha School of Enlightenment [3]. Suzanne Ward claims to channel Matthew Ward, who has told her that her mission in 'this lifetime' was to publish urgently needed celestial guidance[4]. Jach Pursel channels Lazaris a "multi-leveled consciousness," who claims that no other entity from his level of awareness has ever made contact with Earth[5].
