thanks for your contributions, but please do not change "manchuria" to "northeast china" at various korean history articles. this is the english wikipedia, not chinese. we rely on widely accepted reputable references, preferably english-language, for the contents. we use whatever wording is found in the academic references, not our judgments or one specific country's usage. please review WP:V & WP:NPOV. please see, for example, britannica [1] Encarta Columbia and American Heritage, as well as many specific links within articles that link to sources that use "manchuria." thanks. please review the wikipedia policy WP:V. it doesn't matter if you believe the references are wrong. wikipedia still must reflect what the references say, that is the policy here. the references are using the word to describe a region now called manchuria. it doesn't matter what china calls the region, if the references use another word. you may wish to discuss the matter at Talk:Manchuria, where a similar discussion is happening. but please, please, do not change properly referenced & academically established usage. thanks for understanding. please also note the WP:3RR policy. if you revert edits more than 3 times in 24 hours, you can be blocked from editing wikipedia. thanks. Appleby 16:28, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

if you revert again, you will be reported and blocked. Appleby 16:32, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
