Welcome

I'm an undergraduate student of philosophy from Porto Alegre, Brazil. My interests lie in religion -- mainly Christianity and Buddhism, including Zen -- especially mysticism. I've been interested in the Rhineland mystics, and Meister Eckhart is one of my favourite writers. As a student of philosophy, I've given more attention to Thomas Aquinas lately, especially the First Part of his Summa Theologiae (especially the "Tractatus de homine").

I've been mostly doing small edits, mainly in Christianity-related articles. Lately I have been fascinated with the Order of the Cistercians of Strict Observance, which I discovered not long ago via Thomas Merton, and how it seems a so much a Christian correlate of the Zen religious lifestyle.
