Kristina Orbakaite

Kristina Edmundovna Orbakaitė (Russian: Кристина Эдмундовна Орбакайте) was born on 25 May 1971 in Moscow, Soviet Union, to parents Mykolas Orbakas, a Lithuanian circus performer, and Alla Pugacheva, the "Queen of the Russian Stage".
Her film career was launched at the age of 12 when she played against Yuri Nikulin in the movie Scarecrow. Today, she is one of the most popular actress and pop singing star in Russia. She has played leading roles in 3 theatrical productions and over 15 movies.
During the February 2000 U.S. tour that she participated in with her mother, she was called the "Princess of Russian Song" by the American press.
Her sold out 2006 tour "MY LIFE" was one of the most successful tours ever for the Russian artist in the U.S.A.
Kristina was awarded "World Music Award" in 2002 for Best Selling Russian Artist, and "MuzTV Music Award" in 2005 and 2006 for the best female singer in Russia.
Kristina is married to an American businessman, Mikhail Zemtsov. She has two sons: Nikita born in 1990, and Denny born in 1998.
