Kristijan Golubović

Aleksandar Kristijan Golubović (Александар Кристијан Голубовић) (born November 30, 1969 in Munich, Germany) is a Serbian mafioso currently in jail.

He was born to Srboljub and Milanka Golubović in a family of Serbian gastarbeiters living in Munich, Germany. His parents moved back to Serbia in 1987, and he came along as well. Already no stranger to various juvenile delinquent activity, Golubović continued along the same path with street fighting, often involving knives and guns. He soon graduated to organized crime and gang related activity, becoming one of the more prominent mobsters in Belgrade.

Kristijan Golubović was featured in a 1996 documentary about Serbia’s gangsters called Vidimo se u čitulji. He is one of only few out of the dozens featured in the film that is still alive today.

He was arrested in Operation Sabre, the crackdown on organized crime in Serbia that followed Đinđić's assassination. In 2002 he escaped from Malandrino, a Greek prison in which he was sentenced to 14 and a half years for stealing two Mercedes-Benz cars, and an armed robbery. While in prison, he was attacked by an Albanian fellow prisoner and suffered 40 stab wounds. During his time in prison, he maintained a relationship with Arkan's daughter Anđela Ražnatović.

On the night of 17th March 2004, Kristijan and famous Serbian pop-folk singer Ceca Raznatovic (widow of murdered Mafia boss Arkan) gathered demonstrators in front of the government building in Belgrade to speak about the situation in Kosovo and burning of more than 300 Serbian Orthodox churches in Kosovo. Serbian hooligans destroyed the Bajraklija Mosque in Nis and the Agina-Mosque in Belgrade.

He married Suzana Milojkovic whom he has dated since December 2005, in the prison which he will serve a total of 6 years for racketeering, on September 29th 2006.
