Kristianstad Municipality IPA: [kri'ɧansta] is a Swedish municipality in southernmost Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Kristianstad.
It is the seat of the Skåne Regional Council. It is rivalling Hässleholm Municipality as having the largest area of the province. It is however unparallelled in Sweden due to its large number of separate urban areas, with a total of nearly 30 in the municipality.
