Kristian S. Cordero

Kristian Sendon Cordero (b. April, 1983 in Iriga City, Philippines) is a Filipino author.

He attended the University of Saint Anthony and took Bachelor of Arts Major in Philosophy at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary in 2003. Cordero's works have gained favorable criticisms from Philippine literary critics. His poetry has also been subject for critical analysis and thesis dissertations in various universities in the Bikol region.

He has also written poetry with social commentaries particularly on the issue of tenancy inHacienda Luisita and the problem of the educational system in the Philippines. The poems were anthologized in two chapbooks published in Manila.

In January 2004, he launched his first book, Mga Tulang Tulala: Piling Tula sa Filipino, Bikol at Rinconada (Goldprint Publishing House), and his second poetry collection Santigwar, Mga Rawitdawit sa Bikol asin Filipino in middle of 2006. (Goldprint Publishing House, 2006).

He writes a column titled "Smoldering Wick" in the BicolMail paper.
