Kris Russell (born on May 2, 1987 in Caroline, Alberta) is an ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL.

Russell was drafted in the 3rd round, 67th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Russell played for Canada at the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships winning the gold medal.
