Kris Leek

Kris Leek (born 1988 in Newport) is a Welsh professional football player. A product of the Newport County youth academy, Leek is a speedy attacking midfield player who can also operate at right back. After a loan perod at Cwmbran Town he broke into the Newport County first team while still in his teens and played in the 2007 FAW Premier Cup final loss to TNS. Despite being relatively short he is known for his exceptionally long throw-ins. He has been capped by Wales at schoolboy and Under-18 international level.
