KRDE is an FM radio station licensed to Globe, Arizona. The privately owned station broadcasts at 94.1 MHz and is branded as "94.1 The Ride."

[edit] Programming

KRDE is primarily a country music station. The station runs a local disc jockey, Mindy C., in the afternoon drive, and is jockless throughout the workday. The rest of the programming on KRDE is syndicated. Morning drive is filled with the nationally syndicated Young and Verna program while overnights air Blair Garner.

On weekends, the station takes an unusual approach and airs many shows not typical of country music stations, such as Dr. Demento, Goddard's Gold, and Rock, Roll and Remember as part of the Ride Back in Time along with a community affairs program titled "Shop and Talk" by Sean, another Disc Jockey. KRDE also airs alternative country programs such as Altville and American Road, as well as more common syndicated country programs like Crook and Chase Countdown, Cowboy Corner with Red Steagall, and America's Grand Ole Opry Weekend.

[edit] Audience

KRDE's signal, at 640 watts, is fairly weak and thus barely reaches the eastern Phoenix suburbs. However, KRDE does stream its programming on the Internet.
