Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP is a law firm with offices in New York City and Paris.

The Firm was founded in 1968 in New York under the name Kramer, Lowenstein, Nessen & Kamin. When Eugene Nickerson, a descendent of President John Adams, joined the Firm, its name changed to Nickerson, Kramer, Lowenstein, Nessen & Kamin. After a number of other evolutions, the Firm became Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, when Nickerson left to join the federal bench of the Eastern District of New York, Lou Lowenstein joined the faculty of Columbia Law School, Gary P. Naftalis became a name partner, and Marvin E. Frankel, the former Southern District of New York judge, joined the Firm.

As of 2006, after careful and deliberate growth, the Firm had nearly 300 lawyers, with one of the strongest white-collar defense, securities, real estate and land use, Lanham Act, and bankruptcy practices in the country.
