Kraków County (Polish: powiat krakowski ) is a powiat (county) in Poland, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The county seat is the city of Kraków and the powiat includes the area around it, but not the city itself which forms its own separate urban powiat. The population numbers 243,315 (2005). Its area is 1229.62 km².
