Královský Chlmec (Hungarian: Királyhelmec) is a town in Slovakia. It is located in the District of Trebišov, in the Region of Košice. In 2001, its population was 8,031, of whom 76.94% were ethnic Hungarians, 18.86% were ethnic Slovaks, and 3.26% were ethnic Roma.
