Králický Sněžník (IPA: [ˈkra:lɪtski: ˈsɲɛʒɲi:k]) in Czech language, Śnieżnik or Śnieżnik Kłodzki in Polish (and Glatzer Schneeberg or Grulicher Schneeberg in German) is a mountain on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. Snow cover staying for up to eight months a year gave the mountain its name.

The mountain is the highest peak of mountain range Králický Sněžník (Czech) / Masyw Śnieżnika (Polish) / Glatzer Schneegebirges (German), itself part of Jeseníky Mountains. It lies between the town Králíky and Kladsko Gap that separates it from Rychleby Mountains.

The massive was formed during Tertiary. Sněžník is water divide for three seas: Black Sea (river Morava), Baltic Sea (river Nysa Kłodzka) and North Sea (Liptovský stream).

Between 1899 - 1973 a stone view-tower stood on the Polish side of the mountain top. A statue of a young elephant was put in place of a former chalet.

On the Czech side a state protected natural reservation (Národní přírodní rezervace Králický Sněžník ) was established in 1990 [1].

The mountain and neighbouring areas are equipped for ski recreation.
