[edit] First album

This page has the names of the songs in the first album. http://www.hanteo.com/search/album_info.asp?mcode=000800582 I added them with the revised romanization

[edit] NOTE

KOYOTE IS NOT A BAND! They do not play instruments. They just dance. Why did you move this away from (group)??? Are you thinking of another group? SKS2K6 05:51, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Alright, I moved it back. Kappa 06:16, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Hahah, thanks. I just realised I sound REALLY ranty on this, so I'm so sorry if you got offended. I don't know what I was thinking. I wasn't even mad at all. :P SKS2K6 06:33, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

Koyote (group) → Koyote — No other use of the word by itself, only Koyote Records and Kansas Koyotes. Koyote currently redirects to a disambiguation page. PC78 19:05, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Support, only article that is for a "thing" called exactly "Koyote". On top of the page Koyote should be link to disambiguation page. Monni 21:01, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Support, as nominator for the reasons above. PC78 21:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Support; agree with Monni. SKS2K6 23:36, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Support. I put Koyote Records up for deletion and Kansas Koyote are barely notable, so move away. --Bobblehead 01:44, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Oppose. For me the band is just as obscure as any of the other items :-) Besides, a quick google search made me found Koyote Communications, a Koyote Ranch (whatever it may be), KoYoTe software, a Koyote "emulator" (???), a Koyote Russian night vision scope, a Koyote windsurf sail... None important, but neither is the band. I would prefer to leave the dab page where it is. - Regards, Evv 23:40, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Comment - None of those other examples have articles on Wikipedia though, so I don't really see how relevant they are. In any case, now that Koyote Records has gone there's no need for a dab page at all, so this discussion is in danger of becoming redundant anyway. PC78 00:14, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
This move would have no impact on the dab page, which is at Koyote (disambiguation). PC78 19:19, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion

Add any additional comments:
  • Why don't you just try to speedy the redirect (possibly under G6)... I don't think there is much question about popularity of this Korean group... Monni 19:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
I previously submitted this as an uncontroversial move, but another user objected saying that it needed proper discussion. PC78 20:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Koyote is popular in Korea, but how popular are they in the english speaking world? Koyote Communications is #1 on a google search, an incomplete pharmacy page is #2, and Koyote Ranch is #3. It's not until #4 that Koyote (group) gets a mention and that's on KPopMusic.com. It's also rather telling that Koyote Records comes up as the first wikipedia article. --Bobblehead 20:59, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Those first three examples are irrelevant, since none of them have articles on Wikipedia. PC78 21:41, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Track Titles

Some song titles are transliterations while others are translations. I think we should make them all one or the other, just to be consistent. But then again, is it really necessary to list all of them out? JpKllA 01:11, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
