Kowloon Junior School (九龍小學, KJS) open since 1902 (when it was known as Kowloon British School), Kowloon Junior School operates on two campuses. Year 1 to 3 students are on the Perth Street campus and Year 4 to 6 students on the Rose Street campus. The campuses are approximately 3 kilometres apart. The school community is currently working on designing a new school to house all students on the Perth Street campus. Concept plans have been developed and the anticipated completion date of the project is January 2010.
KJS serves South and East Kowloon and provides places for 900 children. The school also makes provision for children with moderate learning difficulties through a learning support class on each campus.
