Kounterfeit is a 1996 American crime/thriller film. Kounterfeit was directed by John Mallory Asher and written by David Chase, Katherine Fugate and Jay Irwin.

Kounterfeit is about a woman who searches for the people who killed her brother in a shootout, who posed as an undercover police officer. One of the criminals is a former counterfeit money maker.
