Kottapadi is a small town close to Guruvayur, Kerala, India. Here the famous Anna Kotta (elephant resort) is located.

The elephants belong to the Guruvayur Temple, where devotees offer it to Lord Guruvayurappan. Earlier this place was the palace (Punnathur Kotta or Punathur Fort) of a local ruler. Kottapadi being a coastal village (2 kms from sea) like many other parts of Kerala has white sand and earlier coconut was a major industry, Now due to rapid urbanisation, most of this village has become a small town. Located only 2 kilometers away from Guruvayur temple. Daily many tourists come here for visiting the elephant fort.There are more than 60 elephants here. The elephants are donated by prominent devotees of Lord Guruvaayurappan.
