Kot Karam Khan

A small town off the road. Established in 1896 by karamzai family. Previously known as Kot Nizam Shah or Shah Kot. Kot Karam Khan has all civic facilities which a town can consisit - electricity, a small digital telephone exchange, a basic health unit and a small bazaar. Sardar Sadiq Mhammed Khan (b.1896-d.1984), Claimed to be the first Karamzai baby born in this new town. First Chairman after declaring as it a union council from government. Won in 1963.

Sardar Alamgir Khan.(b. 1907-d. 29 December 1973.) Was man behind giving vision of local politics to his small family, contesting for legislative Council seat against gigantic makhdoom zada hassan mahmood in 1951.

Sardar Minhaj Khan S/O Sardar Sadiq Mohammed khan mazari(b.1944-d.1988). Was elected Chairman of union Council in 1979. Elected member of District Council in 1987 after competing his opponents with huge votes.

Sardar Lutfullah Khan.(b. 1945-d. 18 April 2002) Was the first graduate in sub clan karamzai. Also served as district attorney and deputy director anti-corruption in Multan.

Sardar Shakeel Khan,(d. 2 January 2003)

Sardar Zameer Khan. (b. 1950-d. 25 March 2006) When died serving as Assistant Food controller In provincial food department in Rahim yar Khan.

Sardar Maqsoom Khan.(d. 17 January 2007). Was a great man with marvellous sense of humour. Was serving as presiednt Sindh Suzuki Assosisation in Karachi.

Kot Karam Khan is now a union council and also center of union Council, 32 kilometers from disst Head quarter Rahim Yar Khan.

Present Nazim is ishtiaq Ahmed khan mazari. An electrical engineer from Uet Lahore. Contest two times and won both turns.
