Part of an illustration of "a set of representative output for a single move" Figure 1, p. 13 in A Chess Playing Program for the IBM 7090 Computer also known as Kotok-McCarthy. Bachelor's thesis by Alan Kotok, June 1962, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Dept. of Electrical Engineering. See also MIT AIM-41 (undated)[1], and copyedited XHTML on Kotok family Web site (2004).[2]

Rationale for fair use: No free equivalent is known to exist. This image is a screen shot of about 1/3 of 1 of 3 pages of Figure 1 from a PDF of a copy labeled of doubtful quality. The thesis has historic significance. Low resolution image used in three articles about the author and work to which he contributed.
