Kostka Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kostka Hall is one of two junior campuses of Xavier College. It was opened in 1937 in Brighton. It originally consisted of two buildings Maritima and Marchwood (also known as St Johns), it opened as a boarding school but now is composed comletely of day boys. There have been many upgrades to the buildings and now Marchwood no longer exists and in its place stands a multi purpose hall which also has included a music school and a stage. It is generally considered among the wider Xavier Community to be the "younger sister" of Burke Hall, the dominant junior campus.
