Koster Islands

Koster Islands is two islands west of Strömstad, Sweden. The two islands are called South and North Koster. The two islands have 300 year around inhabitants (240 of them at South Koster). In summer the number of inhabitants increase a lot. South Koster has an area of 8 km² and North Koster an area of 4 km². The south island is green and the north island is rocky. You reach the island with boats from Strömstad. The islands have lots of tourists from Sweden and Norway. The islands are the most westerly Swedish islands with inhabitants.
