Kosmo! (also known as Kosmo) is a Malay newspaper derived by Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Berhad. It is available in Malaysia at any newsstand mainly in petrol stations, several bookshops and selected universities all over Peninsular Malaysia.

It was launched on August 30, 2004 by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

This newspaper is likeable by working people, as this newspaper is in Compact form, making it easier to read and saving time too.

Also, this newspaper has many patterns and designs.

Kosmo! newspaper had made a target to widen its coverage throughout Malaysia. It is scheduled to become true at the end of 2006.

There are many sections in this newspaper such as Luar Negara (Worldwide), Dalam Negara (Local News), Hiburan (Entertainment) and many more.

  • All the sections in this newspaper use an exclamation mark (!) which is known to attract people.
  • The name Kosmo is short for Kosmopolitan(Cosmopolitan).
