Korenica

Korenica is a little place in Lika, Croatia, located in the municipality of Plitvice Lakes, on the road between Plitvice and Udbina. It has 1,570 residents (2001).
In SFRY it was named Titova Korenica after Tito. On that area now live Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian people. There is one elementary school and one high school.
There also exists a small village named 'Korenica' in the Krivogastani Oblast in the Republic of Macedonia.
