The Korean Proletarian Artists' Federation ("KAPF") was a socialist organisation, founded in 1925 in Korea.
Members sought to write literature for the purpose of advancing socialism, especially amongst idustrial and agricultural labourers. Many of the group's stories were based on the hardships of industrial and farm workers.
KAPF lasted 10 years until 1935 when many of its members fled the country or were captured by the Japanese and placed into prison. Some of KAPF’s literary members included Yi Kiyông, Kim Namch'ôn, Pak T'aewôn, and Yi T'aejun.
