Korean Australian

A Korean-Australian is a person of Korean descent living in Australia.

As of 2001, ethnic Koreans living in Australia numbered some 50,000, with large concentrations in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.

2001 census reported that there are up to 150,000 people in Australia who are of full or partial Korean ancestry.

Many Korean-Australians are affiliated with evangelical Christian and Protestant churches, with only 8% of Korean-Australian being non-Christians, most of whom are Buddhists.
