The Korea Computer Center (KCC) is the leading North Korean government computer research center. It, the leading IT R&D base of DPRK, was founded on October 24th, 1990.

KCC operates 8 development and production centers, and 11 regional information centers. It runs the KCC Information Technology College and its Information Technology Institute. The KCC has branch offices in Germany, China, Syria and the United Arab Emirates. It has an interest in Linux research.
