Koratla is a town and a municipality in Karimnagar district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Koratla is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 286 metres (938 feet). The population of Korutla is about 75,000 and mostly business oriented city. Trade in textiles, making beedies and inflow from non resident Indians working in the gulf are the main sources of income for this city.

Koratla has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 51%. In Koratla, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age. Has got good history,still has many more old structures as a marks of history. Near by has a great siphon which is called biggest siphon in Asia,also known for a big banyantree which is formed over 6 acers. people here known for their devotional beliefes. sai baba temple of here has got the name as second shirdi, which is recognized by the people across a.p and other states also.
