User talk:Konky2000
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
[edit] SF Climate
Noticed your deleted note. The Arboretum (Strybing in GGPark) goes on and on about this. That's why there are sections of the Arboretum devoted to Chilean and South African plants. Anyway, if you don't find the answers you're looking for you might find them at Strybing. Or I'll remember to check it out a bit next time I'm there. --Chinasaur 04:03, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Invitation
I've seen your edits to articles related to the Bay Area, such as Grand Lake Theater, so I was wondering if you'd like to join WikiProject San Francisco Bay Area. It's a WikiProject that focuses on improving Wikipedia's coverage of the Bay Area. (It's a plus that you live in Oakland.) If you'd like to join, just add your name to the member list.
