Konvicted is the second album by hip hop and R&B singer Akon. It was originally released in November 2006. The album features tracks recorded with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Styles P and T-Pain.

Konvicted debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 284,000 copies.[1] Since then it has charted well by staying within the top twenty of the chart as well as peaking at number two on three other consecutive occasions. On its fifth week, it broke the one million mark,[2] though it was certified platinum two weeks later. In its tenth week it had a total of 1.3 million copies.[3] The album was officially certified double platinum on its sixteenth week.[4] Currently on its twentieth week, it occupies the number five spot on the chart and has sold 2.0 million (1,998,950) records.[5]

The album's chart performance was equally as impressive worldwide, as it sold well over 297,000 copies and took the number two spot in its debut on the United World Chart. Konvicted broke the one million mark in only five short weeks. In its tenth week it had already sold a whopping 1.7 million copies. After four months it sold had already sold 2.4 million. With 19 weeks on the chart, worldwide sales seem to be staying strong as it has remained in the top twenty of the chart and has already sold more than 2.8 million (2,898,000) copies.[6]
