Konstantin Fomichev

Konstantin Fomichev (Russian: Константин Фомичев), born 30 August 1977 in Ufa, is an athlete from Russia. He competes in flatwater canoeing.
His greatest success came at the 1999 World Championships in Milan, Italy, where he won four gold medals. He was also twice a double European chmapionship gold medallist (1999 and 2001)
Fomichev competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's 1000 metre individual canoe. He placed first in his initial heat with a time of 3.48.690, qualifying directly for the final. There, he fell to ninth place, this time at 3:55.773.
At the 2006 World Championships in Szeged, Fomichev placed fifth in the C4 1000m final.
He is 186 cm (6'1") tall and weighs 95 kg (209 lbs).
