Komitadji

Komitadji, Comitadji or Komitaji (Macedonian Комитаџи, Turkish: Komitacı, "a rebel, member of a secret revolutionary society") is a member of a guerrilla band in Macedonia or the Balkan countries. Gangs of rebels during the Ilinden uprising or other members of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization were also known as komitadji.
