Komagaku

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Komagaku (高麗楽) is a form of Gagaku, or court music, that appeared in Japan around the beginning of the Nara period. It originated in Korea [1] and is often played as a dance accompanyment.[2] In contrast to other forms of Gagaku, Komagaku uses no strings. [3]
