Kolomensky District

Kolomensky District (Russian: Коло́менский райо́н) is a district (raion) in the south-eastern part of Moscow Oblast, Russia. Its administrative center in the ancient town of Kolomna. District's population: 40,780 (2002 Census); 44,477 (1989 Census). The district's area is 1,091 km². Main rivers flowing through the district are the Oka and the Moskva.
