Koibla Djimasta

Koibla Djimasta (born 1950) is a Chadian politician from the southern part of the country. An administrator who held various cabinet positions in the ousted presidency of Hissène Habré and the current government of Idriss Déby, such as that of Interior Minister in 1992-93. Of the ruling Patriotic Salvation Movement (MPS), he was nominated Prime Minister by the President on April 8, 1995 and confirmed by the transitional parliament by winning a majority vote 54-36. On August 11, 1996 a new 21-member cabinet was formed, in which he retained the post of Prime Minister. A year later he resigned and on May 17, 1997 his place was taken by Nassour Guelendouksia Ouaido, also of the MPS.
