From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kohas AG is a Swiss metal fabrication company established in the late 1980s. The CEO is Jakob Steiger. The company gained attention in late March 2006 when it was designated as a proliferator by the United States in an executive order signed by George W. Bush.[1] According to the US, nearly half of the company's shares are held by Korea Ryongwang Trading Corporation, a subsidiary of the Korea Ryonbong General Corporation. The company has denied any relationship with the North Korean regime, and says that it only manufactures parts for shelving.[2]
