Koharu Kusumi (久住小春 Kusumi Koharu?, born July 15, 1992 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan), is the only 7th generation Morning Musume member (the last generation to only have one new member was the third generation with member Maki Goto). Before she joined Morning Musume she was the captain of her school's volleyball team. Kusumi's audition process and debut was documented during the 2005 episodes of TV Tokyo television show, Hello! Morning.

Koharu Kusumi joined in 2005 as the only seventh generation member of Morning Musume.
Kusumi has been a member of the Hello! Project kickbase team Metro Rabbits H.P. since its formation in the beginning of 2006 and since April 7, 2006 she has been the voice actor for Kirari Tsukishima, the main character in the anime Kirarin Revolution (きらりん☆レボリューション?).
In early 2007, Kusumi was chosen to be a member of Morning Musume Tanjō 10 Nen Kinentai (モーニング娘。誕生10年記念隊?) - a unit created to celebrate Morning Musume's 10th anniversary as a group. Morning Musume Tanjō 10 Nen Kinentai also consists of Kaori Iida, Natsumi Abe, Maki Goto and Risa Niigaki. Their first single, Bokura ga Ikiru MY ASIA (僕らが生きるMY ASIA?), was released on January 24, 2007.

- During the shooting of the PV for Morning Musume's 29th single "Sexy Boy", Kusumi had a nosebleed, which she managed to stop thanks to fellow member Miki Fujimoto who lent her tissues.[1]
- Because her eyesight is bad, Kusumi wears contacts.
- After Makoto Ogawa, she is the second member to have come from Niigata.
- She is the youngest soloist to debut in Hello! Project, at the age of 12.
