Can we get a source confirming its new top speed? At present both this and the McLaren F1 article claim the fastest road going cars. If the Koenigsegg claim is authentic (and independent) then we should change the F1 version, but if not then this article should change it to a "claim". -- Tomhab 17:41, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)


Most automotive magazines have reported on the new record the Koenigsegg team recorded at the Nartdo track in Italy... I don't know what is required to be a "reliable source" though.

And I actually just checked... The McLaren F1 page no longer claims the speed record.

This one also lists the date of the now former record as having been set on February 28, 2005. That information will be added to the article.
