Koen Daerden

Koen Daerden (born March 8, 1982 in Tongeren) is a Belgian footballer currently playing for Club Brugge. Before he signed a 5-year contract with Club Brugge in June 2006, he was captain of his former club, K.R.C. Genk. It is rumoured that Brugge paid a transfer fee of 4,000,000 for the left winger.
Daerden also plays for the Belgium national football team. Koen is the son of ex-footballer Jos Daerden. Koen has 1 younger brother, born 1986.

Koen and his girlfriend Lisbeth became parents for the first time on November 2, 2006 of twinboys Sander and Brian.
