Kodinsk

Kodinsk (Russian: Кодинск) is a town in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located on the Angara River, 735 km north of Krasnoyarsk. It is the administrative center of Kezhemsky District. Population: 14,746 (2002 Census); 14,050 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1977 as a settlement of Kodinskoye (Кодинское) servicing the construction of Boguchanskaya hydro-electric power station. It received status of urban-type settlement in 1978 and was granted town status in 1989.
