Knut Atle Selberg Born 1949 in Norway is a Planner, Architect and Urban Designer with the Selberg Arkitektkontor AS since 1996

Large scale road projects are often very complex from the environmental impact studies to the detailing and involve lot of interdisciplinary work.

[edit] 1996/03 Urban design and environmental plan for 2 main roads into Trondheim

The work of environmental impact analysis (environmental capacity), Geometry, street architecture and building envelopes in a number of urban design projects. The cross section has been based on boulevard section. It also has a section with a cut and cover tunnel. In Elgeseter gate the main emphasis on the improvement of the environmental capacity of the street, the traffic load is approx. 35.000 AADT and will remain unchanged.. In E6 East the main emphasis is the development of environmental improvements in the main streets, infill projects and to develop urban design policies Commissioned by: City of Trondheim and Norwgian Road Administration – Sør-Trøndelag

Design of the Leonardo bridge from concept to the final design. The bridge is a modern interpretation of sketches made by Leonardo da Vinci. The main span is 55 meters long. [edit] 1995/98 Vallsundet bridge in Östersund, Sweden.

This bridge was commisioned as part of Scandinavian design competition. The bridge is a long viaduct 1,5 km long and includes a new artificial island and a short bridge of 130 meter. The longest span is 100 meter. The bridge was completed in 1998.. Vallsund Bridge in Östersund was nominated to “The building of the year” in Sweden 1999. This is one of Scandinavia longest Suspension Bridges 850 m. The participation was in all stages of the project from concept to final design. Commissioned by: Norway Public Road Administration – Hordaland

[edit] 1993/97E Evenstad bridge.

It is one of Europe longest wood bridges. It spans over the river Glomma in five main spans. Commissioned by: Norway Public Road Administration – Hedmark
