[edit] Greyback

Hi, just wanted to say I've reverted your edit to Fenrir Greyback's blood purity. It's nothing personal at all - but as it's speculation, it isn't really a valid change. Thanks! Libatius 07:40, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Userboxes

I was about to reformat (not remove, trust me) your userboxes and userfy a userbox but I saw the message "Do not edit this page", so I guess you're going to have to do it yourself.

You do have an error in the formatting, so you know. — Nathan (talk) / 23:25, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:05 18 06 1902.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 11:21, 13 October 2006 (UTC) - Sherool (talk) 11:21, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

The image is not used anywhere, and Wikipedia is not a file hosting service for personal photos. If you can give us a better reason to keep it around other than "it's mine" you can comment on my deletion request here. Thanks. --Sherool (talk) 09:26, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Macrauchenia

Hi Knowledgelord, Thank you for your nice comment on my prehistoric beasts. I can redo the Macrauchenia following your recommendations. However, keep in mind that there is always an element of subjectivity in each reconstruction. For instance, most artists have a tendancy to add an elongated trunk to Macrauchenia, but the length of it is actually totally unknown (it might even have not possessed a trunk at all). After all Macrauchenia belongs to a group of mammals (the litopterns) which is completely extinct so there is no living animal to compare to. I used the general shape of the skeleton (such as the one find at [1]) to do the drawings. I agree that I should have done the rear legs a little bit broader but the neck is about right I think. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

[edit] Plesiorycteropus

Hi, thanks for your message! There seems to be just bone fragments left of Plesiorycteropus so I haven't been able to find a full body recreation. There doesn't seem to be very much info. The wikipedia article on Plesiorycteropus needs some serious re-editing anyway. What I have found is a pdf e-book report by the American Museum of Natural History: Morphology, adaptations, and relationships of Plesiorycteropus : and a diagnosis of a new order of eutherian mammals. Bulletin of the AMNH ; no. 220 on the following link [2] There are some bone illustrations. Perhaps a skull image would be interesting...? My request was for a skeleton photograph perhaps from a museum. In the pdf report there seems to be a load of technical info on Plesiorycteropus which could be of interest. Anyway, I would like to know what do you think. Please, let me know... --Francisco Valverde 08:47, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] As per your query

I do not have anything against you and I'll thank you not to assume that I do. I'm just trying to keep articles as free from problems like original research, speculation, point-of-view statements and things that have already been written. For example, the dit I made that provoked your comment was "In the second film, Giselle...". The reason I took out the "In the second film" is because the preceding sentence was "She also appears in Will's hunt for Jack Sparrow in Dead Man's Chest". I am NOT doing anything personal against you so I would ask you please to assume good faith about my edits as I do about yours. Thank you. Dac 20:50, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Once again I feel the need to reinforce that I am just doing what the guidelines dictate, by avoiding trivial details and original research. As a personal rule, I don't remove anything that doesn't fall under those categories; some of your edits, interesting though they may be, fall under those headings. Some don't, and I leave those ones as is. I am NOT doing anything personal against you. Nor have I ever once said that my word is law. So please, do NOT assume I am doing anything personal against you, and assume good faith. I'm doing only what the guidelines state. Please don't sledge me for that. Dac 08:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Callovosaurus in Jurassic Park

Hi;

I noticed that you added this dinosaur to the Jurassic Park category. Can you tell me where it was? I don't remember it being referred to at any point, unless it was one of the names on the storage setup in the first movie where Nedry took the samples. J. Spencer 15:23, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Okay; I hadn't remembered it at all from the novel. J. Spencer 20:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
