[edit] ==Welcome to WP:WA==

Welcome to the WikiProject for WA. Not quite sure how to address you though. Others may be more inventive, ask user:Snottygobble! If you have a special interest, post it at the project. Regards Fred.e 18:42, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Great bloke, dumb name - thats all I can say. You can call me snotty if you want Knobcheesedeluxe 03:45, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

No doubt! Being a wikipedian is pretty good character reference, "Mr Gobble". Hope to see you contributing to WP:WA. If you want to get a users attention reply back at their discussion tab and they will see 'new message' wherever they are on Wiki. Fred.e 16:45, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Saw your message on Fred.e's talk page. You can request a new username at WP:CHU. Your entire contribution history comes across to the new user name with you, but occurrences of your old signature would remain the same. Hesperian 04:16, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Collapsible shutters

Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as "Collapsible shutters") are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. —Keakealani 05:01, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Indeed; that was just stupid. If you want to be a part of Wikipedia you must curb your tendency to make stupid edits. Hesperian 04:27, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Please check your facts before editing. Alfonzo Dominico Jones died in the second series of Seachange. Please refer to the programmes official website. I suspect an instance of the pot calling the kettle black. Knobcheesedeluxe 07:42, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
I was talking about your creation of an article called collapsible shutters with the content "They're mint!!!!". I stand by when I said: that was just stupid. You'd be wasting your time accusing me of making stupid edits like that, because I don't, and everyone knows it. Hesperian 11:38, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps the comment on collapsable shutters was stupid as you allege, but why did you go around making changes to my other edits. I would say that you most certainly did make a stupid edit when you reverted the changes I made back to a mistruth. You did not check your facts which left you open to a stupid edit! Knobcheesedeluxe 11:44, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Not "perhaps"; it was stupid; own it. When you make occasional stupid edits, your co-editors will suspect all your edits of being stupid. They will revert you at the slightest hint of stupidity, such as here, where you added a random link to of. My advice is, if you don't want to be treated like an idiot, don't act like one. [edit] Contributions

Could you please read your intro items a bit more careful. Edits and comments are there forever - they cannot be removed - so maybe some thought first! WP Civility is worth having a look at if you are in any doubt.

When either creating new articles - you need to identify some source - and put it in or on the page - either you might wake up one morning and find some smart editor from another place has had a look - and whoosh - theyre all up for a range of issues - not notable, no sources, and so on. Be very careful - put your talk items signed when responding to others - on their talk page is better. It well worth going back to intro material and skimming it - there may be some issues that are still new to you. If you feel confident with your editing - remember other editors can come in an edit anything of what you have done without invitation - take care how you respond to them - regardless of the issue. SatuSuro 08:12, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
It wont be pleasant - but you are going to find that quite a few of your edits might attract a lot less gentler pair than Hesperian and myself - just deletes on sight - for lack of anything. Please understand where an article is created with no refs, no category, limited notability and possibly unencylopediac language - with the right form of notificatin - they're out. Please understand that - and realise that you should not take umbrage with editors who are assuming good faith - is when you get the bad faith editors who do damage to most of your articles that you should gird your spleen! not now - listen to us while you have the chance. Just because youve been on for a while and hadnt been 'noticed' till recently - will not get you off the hook for articles that attract attention for whatever reason. Any need for arguing with us - and you might find we are simply not interested in saving any of your weaker articles. SatuSuro 12:00, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please register another username

Your username has been blocked indefinitely because it may be rude or inflammatory, unnecessarily long/confusing, too similar to an existing user, contains the name of an organization or website, or is otherwise inappropriate (see our blocking and username policies for more information). You are encouraged to create a new account and contribute to Wikipedia under a more appropriate username. Wikipedia:Username provides guidance on selecting an appropriate username. You may also edit Wikipedia without creating an account.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia under an inappropriate username. If you would like to discuss the block, you may appeal on your talk page or email the administrator who blocked you. Due to Wikipedia's mechanism for enforcing name changes, your IP address may be temporarily blocked. Unless you have also been engaging in vandalism or impersonation of another user, we will remove that block as soon as possible.

If you want to keep the contributions from your old account for your new username, please follow these directions: (1) Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} to your user talk page. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page. (2) Soon, an admin may come to unblock you. (3) You will have 24 hours after the unblock to file a request on Wikipedia:Changing username before you may be re-blocked. Note that this can only be done before you create the new one. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username. In many cases (especially if your account has few or no edits), it is a lot easier to create a new account.

[edit] Oh Dear!

Sorry for your troubles. If you follow the changing your username, you should be able to take your edits with you. I would want to, after a quick look at your edits. Let me know your new username or if you want me to find out anything. Cheers. Fred.e 12:45, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

I have unblocked you and removed the autoblock on your IP to allow you to request a username change to Fancyfootwork (talk contribs). I will check back in 24 hours, so please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. If you have any problems, please contact me on my talk page. Thanks,
