Knowledge iN (Korean:지식iN) service is an information-sharing tool for Naver users. Naver is currently the biggest web portal in South Korea, followed by Daum. The tool gives answers to just about any question, such as how to cook "ramen" and how to subscribe to international magazines via Internet. It is similar to Yahoo! Answers. Bradley Horowitz, of Yahoo!, said that he got an idea from Knowledge iN. There are currently more than 60 million questions followed by answers in Knowledge iN database as of February 28, 2007.
Knowledge iN has four sub-categories :
- Knowledge Q&A takes general questions about anything
- Local Q&A allows people to ask for the local information such as good restaurants, cheap stores, and real estate information.
- Agony Q&A is for people seeking for opinion such as relationship, love, career advise, sexual question at puberty (with anonymous posting enabled.) While answers on Knowledge Q&A and Local Q&A is factual, answers on Agony Q&A is usually opinionated.
- Open Dictionary is a database of informative articles generated by users. Users can create an article alone, or one may enable other users to collaborate to create a thread of articles on the same subject. In addition, the user may add one's answer from Knowledge Q&A to Open Dictionary.

The user of the Knowledge iN can receive additional points or have one's points subtracted for each action. Following is a chart of actions a user may take in order to earn points:

Being chosen as the best answer | +10 | Earned when one's answer is chosen as the best answer by the asker or by the voters. When there is an additional points provided by the asker of the question, the chosen answerer will also receive those points. An asker may provide additional 10 points to the answerer as appreciation points. |
Voting | +1 | Earned by voting for one of the answers provided for the question. A user may earn up to 20 points daily by voting. |
Evaluating a question | +1 | Earned for evaluating an answered question as 'good' or 'bad.' A user may earn up to 20 points daily by evaluating. |

Knowledge iN has its own unique level system according to the points that a user has earned:
