The image linked here is claimed to be used under fair use as:

  1. the subject of the photograph, the Tulip chair, is a work of art, and may thus be under copyright. It is therefore imposible to produce a free image until the copyright expires (at the earliest in 2031).
  2. it is a historically significant advertisment of a famous product;
  3. it is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
  4. the photo is only being used for informational purposes.
