Knights of Saint Columbanus

The Order of the Knights of Saint Columbanus is an Irish Catholic fraternal and service organization for lay men over twenty-one years of age.
The Order was founded in Belfast in 1915 by Canon James K. O'Neill, who was greatly influenced by the social teaching of the Catholic Church and particularly Pope Leo XIII's encyclical Rerum Novarum.
Originally based in Belfast, the Order's headquarters since March 1923 has been Ely House, Dublin.

supreme executives- Head of provincial areas
supreme knight- Head of the whole knighthood, is elected by the supreme council every three years.
The current supreme knight is Charles B. McDonald.
supreme chaplain- Spiritual companion of the knights.
