Knightowl (b.Ramon Corona) is a Chicano rap artist that has been in the business since 1995 and has helped launch the careers of many Chicano rappers based in San Diego, CA. Knightowl raps in Spanglish, although English is the most prominent language in his raps. Prior to his 2006 beef with Spanky Loco, Knightowl was considered to be one of the hardest Chicano rap artists in the industry. Reason being, a video that quickly spread on the internet depicting Knightowl being slapped by Spanky Loco, which he admitted to in an interview soon afterwards. In the video Knightowl repeatedly told Spanky Loco that he had no problems with him or his camp, but this didn't stop Spanky from assaulting him. As he lifted Knightowl off a couch with Spanky's crew in the background in what's told to be a recording studio, he then slapped him once on the left side of his face. In an interview in March Knightowl challenged Spanky Loco to a video taped fight, since then Spanky Loco has yet to accept or reject KnightOwl's challenge.Knightowl has been claimed as the best rapper in the west and probably is but there is still many haters like dyablo, knightowl calls him dyablow,because he claims to mess with there crew but there all probably jelous because knightowl is a good rapper.
