Knaresborough town mayor

The Town Mayor of Knaresborough is the civic head and council chairman of the town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, England. The position was created following local government reorganisation in 1974. The Town Mayor (commonly shortened to Mayor) is elected by Knaresborough Town Council at its Annual Meeting in May each year and serves a term of one year, though some Mayors have served more than once.
