KMOJ (89.9 FM) is a community radio station located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are a very community-oriented station airing a predominantly urban adult contemporary format. KMOJ also features soul music, blues, gospel music, reggae, jazz, hip hop, spoken word, and talk shows aimed at African American listeners. They are owned and operated by the non-profit Center for Communications and Development, located on Minneapolis' north side. KMOJ is a member of Minnesota's Independent Public Radio network.
